Why is the  70s orange RCA victor issue fetching stupid money  one last week nr 300 and another nearing the ton  still time to go  jm couldn't get that for one  the original hasn't even got a bid  on ebay as yet  

We could have this conversation all week,  and Jesus when it comes to jm's auctions we regularly do !

As usual,  supply and demand,  my black rca copy went west to Leeds a few years ago for nearly £200,  and my mates gold rca copy went north for nearly £400 recently

Last Orange copy I saw went for £40 !

Slightly off topic? But for a record costing several thousand, I would jump on plane to see it before buying (except for JM and one or two others). Return flight to any city in USA or EU is peanuts compared to the risks of losing the money .
