I'm currently doing some research on the impact of soul/rhythm and blues music on British society in the 1960s/70s. Does anyone have a complete run of Blues and Soul that I could consult to aid my research? I live in Manchester and can travel. I'm particularly interested in the letters pages and the columns by Frank Elson. The British Library only has a run that starts in 1974 and I can't find the earlier issues in any reference library. I'm not looking to purchase the magazines I just need to take some notes from the early editions. Any help from contributors to the site would be much appreciated.
