OK, this doesn't classify as a "northern soul" sound, but men, I bet it would work out fine in a niter and what a refreshment that would be to hear such records. Go for the flip side for a silky plaintive dramatic song well worth of a careful ear. And it's a lovely copy that is for sale here.
