Do all copys on Gaye play with some background hiss , that cuts in and out ? I have checked a few on you tube and they are all not that good , are there clean copys out there for sale ?

I don't remember hiss but it is a messy sound in general. Good though

I can confirm that sort of background hiss or something like that on my copy, surely it's a bit annoying to listen to but not so much I think, it's pretty ok when you play it in a venue.

yes I have a mint- looking copy that does have a slight background hiss in parts as above, but when played on a big system sounds great

been playing this out a few years now....

Thanks guys for the info , I guess i,ll keep the copy I have , and stop looking for a better one .
