Cheers

As long as your tape player has audio outputs it works in the same way as vinyl (as far as I know). RCA/Phono Jack required from audio outputs to soundcard in PC, play your tape start 'record' on your sond recording software.

No headphone socket?

I think Roxio if you have their recorder will also split the tracks for you to save messing about.

I've always just taken the feed from tape 2...(record out) on my amp..to line in on the PC...all you do then, is select the device you're playing from on the amp...tape 1, cd, tuner, deck.....if it comes out of the amp...it's picked up on the PC

Thanks for the tips. Now I just need a tape player again.
