Do younger people IE Sub 40 years old place threads /comments about "is this the end"?

BUT I Do prefer 60s tunes albeit I like quality soul from any era...........I'm still only 53 at the moment.........ATB Steve erm just wanna hear .....new 60s

I turned 50 last week, checked my birth lines as I could,nt believe it, felt really depressed the whole day, knowing you are 53 has cheered me up, thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am one of the youngish ones (38) and for me its only the beginning and cant even think why anyone exept the older ones would talk about the end being nigh, its only going to finish if you want it too, its too big a scene for it to end, the only thing i think will end is the unbelievable amount of events thats going on at the moment, but when only time will tell but for now not for a long long time.

Hi Bearsy,I am currently playing a few tunes purchased from Mark Dobson that IMHO are superb.........When I find that I CANNOT find new tunes to me,which will take me to my collecting grave, I will nearly call it a day...How can anyone into "OUR" music not want to appreciate the efforts of true soul ARTISTS.....ATB Steve

Hi Steve,

got to agree with you Steve on the finding new tunes and collecting but if you have a massive collection lets say over a few thousand and the finding of new tunes slow down surely you would still have a plenty big enough collection to be able to go through and play out or just listen too indoors with out getting board with them.

if your like myself then you only buy tunes that really hit the button for you and get just as much pleasure of going back and listening to some of the tunes you forgot you had that you bought a year or even a few years previously.

I often go into my collection and pick out at random and the buzz i get is still very strong.

dont give up yet as the end is nowhee near.

Im at a bit of an advantage at the moment as ive only been into the scene properly about 3 years now and only been collecting far about 18 months so i am forever finding new tunes that blow me away but the big disadvantage though is nothing is cheap anymore so some of my big wants are either in collections or just too expensive.

i might just start a paper round up to help with the funding

It wont stop me looking though
