Just pulled out my copy of Gettin Ready on Columbus, and can't for the life of me remember if the original has ALL Capitals in the run out or a mix of upper and lower case. I know JM described it in his auction recently but i didn't get time to check my copy!!!

This is what mine has,

All capitals:

Side 1:

MRP/FR__JB-51679-GRFTG (also a C with a small b in it)

Side 2:

MRP/FR__JB-51679-BLR (same as above)

COUNTERFEIT COPY sound is lower. Lightly scratched matrix FRJB - 51679 - A .Then half a turn TLP. Original matrix reads MRP/FR-JB - 51679 -"GRFTG" - Re2 . Then a B inside a circle. This is deeply scratched in.

ORIGINAL copy volume is louder, quality of label colour is deeper. Original deadwax deeply scratched matrix reads MRP/FR-JB - 51679 -"GRFTG" - Re2 . Then a B inside a circle. Counterfeit matrix FRJB - 51679 - A .Then half a turn TLP-

Just checked my copy again and i can`t see any RE2 on the run out,also on my label in pencil is

5100 7/79 would this be the date?

Nope no RE2 on my copy just the letters and numbers and the C with a small b inside all deeply scratched in,but i`d still say it was Orig though.
