Apologies because I'm sure this has been done before but how much should it cost approx to send a CD from USA to UK ?

It depends on how the seller ships it. If he sends it in an envelope with minimal packing - I could see it being 

around $6.50- $7.00. If he sends it in a small box with extra packing- I could see the shipping price going up 

to around $13 - $14 USD.

   Both prices are for USPS First Class International, if he used USPS Priority, it could be a lot more.
