I was in a conversation when JB and The Hightlighters Band cropped up, and i mentioned i'd once heard TLOMG played before at least 1972/74. But was poo-pooed. So i was probably wrong, or maybe it was a one-off? (it being the flip)

So i wondered...at which venue was "The Love of My Girl" played most and when? Or doesn't it get out much?

maybe someone at Prestatyn 2004 weekender may know- i understand JB was on the bill.

I wrote James Bell's bio for Prestatyn but don't know if I still have it (the website was taken down & my document copy is on an old PC). Should have a copy of the printed prog from the event somewhere though.

Got to chat to James quite a bit at Prestatyn (wasn't he at least 2 of those weekenders ?) but can't instantly recall the content of our chats ... it most certainly will not have been about which was the 1st UK DJ / venue where his cut was spun though.
