Last mix from me this year. There's a focus on uptempo tunes in this mix. A few funk bangers from Wayne Carter and the Debonaires. We have an unissued unnamed acetate which I believe is William Powell's demo take of "You Can't Have Your Cake" later issued on Melatone by Lela Martin. A real classy gospel funk gem from the Masonic Allstars and a true northern allnighter sound from Sir Thompson. A little bit of everything as usual: the rare, the cheap and the plain good ones. All from original 45s.
Playlist as follows:
Tracklist
1. Lawdy Rolla - Guerillas
2. Real Love - Sir Thompson
3. You can't have your cake - William Powell
4. I gotta hear it from you - Ronnie North
5. Peter in or out - Wayne Carter
6. Stop let's be united - Debonaires
7. Won't you let me know - Del-Cords
8. How much longer - Billy Young
9. Freedom road - The Pharaoes
10. Stand up - Masonic Allstars
11. Take me as I am - The Luscious Three
12. Time to love - Candy Coated People
