Once again folks, the unusual mixed with the not so unusual - all quality and all with huge potential. Funds needed otherwise all these would stay on my shelves.

Postage to be added please - Paypal F&F or please add 4% to cover my fees.

(1)    Art Benton – “Sweet Loving” (Chris) VG+/EX £60       *****SOLD*****

Sweet Loving (Chris).mp3

  •          Stafford I believe, before funk-edged was invented
  •         if this was rare, it would be worth blah, blah, blah

(2)    The Bronze Connection - “Love Uprising” (MPH) VG/VG+ £100      *****SOLD*****

Love Uprising (MPH).mp3

Sweet Changes (MPH).mp3

  • -          this is rare; a Greg Belson spin, moody, mid tempo gospel funk
  • -          plays superb but vinyl has a number of surface scuffs hence grading and price

(3)    Carol Hudson – “No, No, No More” (Vel-Vee) EX £100

No, No, No, More (Vel-Vee).mp3

  •       very rare, very obscure; try putting this baby into Google
  •      laid back funky 70s soul dancer with lots of potential

(4)    Ernie Johnson – “Cold Cold Heart” (Aries) VG+ £40   *****SOLD*****

Cold Cold Heart (Aries).mp3

  • -      under the radar, uptempo, gritty and raw funky R&B which doesn’t appear too often

(5)    Jimmy Soul Clarke – “I Blew A Good Thing” (Karen) EX but label damage £60.   *****SOLD*****

I Blew A Good Thing (Karen).mp3

  •      brilliant Detroit funky crossover and not an easy 45 by any means
  •       vinyl is clean as they come but labels damaged as per scan and in common with lots of copies, hence bargain price

(6)    The Library – “What’s The World Coming To” (ALC) EX/M- £60       *****SOLD*****

What's The World Comming To (ALC).mp3

  •        amazed this didn’t sell last time I listed; obscure, uptempo funk-edged dancer
  •       has appeared on one of Greg Belson’s podcasts featuring Michael Robinson, but not sure whose spin it was

(7)    Marc de Noel – “Heartaches” (d’arc) EX £70

Heartaches (d'arc).mp3

  •     great funk-edged uptempo oldie (Dave Thorley spin I believe) due for reactivation

(8)    The Nu-Trons – “Beat” (Eldee) M- £30

Beat (Eldee).mp3

  •        top drawer Mod-style funky instro
  •        would go well in your set next to your Line & Track

(9)    Steppers – “Teach Me To Tighten Up” (Bridges) VG/VG+ £150         *****SOLD*****

Teach Me To Tighten Up (Bridges).mp3

Cloudy Room (Bridges).mp3

  •         gritty, funk-edged 60s R&B male harmony dancer
  •         I win the competition for getting the most descriptive clichés into one listing
  •         seriously though, this is rare and it is bloody good too; potential for the Mod/R&B crowds
  •     this 45 is highly collectable too for the sweet flip
