Another picture heavy thread from me ... Ronnie Savoy was on the music scene for well over 10 years BUT look for detailed info on him now and there ain't too much out there ...

He quite quickly progressed from being just a singer ... he got into writing, then arranging, then production work ... 

As the clip in the 1st post of this thread stated ... Ronnie started his own record label (Gold Dust) ... AND ... he had big plans for it ... but the label only managed 2 x 45 releases and all the other acts he worked with were placed with other labels ... no idea why (one of the labels he licensed stuff to was Roulette and he can't have had many hopes that they'd treat him right) ... it seems Lee Horne was also in a NY studio cutting stuff for Ronnie's Gold Dust, but nothing seemed to escape the tape vaults .... wonder what happened to his label and it's big plans ... guess we'll never know ...
