We are very sad to inform SoulSource and the Soul community that Tempests drummer Nelson Lemmond has now passed away. A very popular character known to users of soul social media, a gracious and genuinely lovely man we are proud to have known on a personal level.

 

Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I had the great pleasure of working with him closely over the last couple of years for the next book project. A highly educated, approachable and genuinely interesting individual, who was intrigued by everything around him, whether it was music, arts, history or people and had a real curiosity about the soul scene in the UK and Europe. We had a meet-up (left of pic) a week before he passed away. RIP.
