What are the rarest soul albums both 6ts and 7ts? I collect albums as much as 45s as there are some great tunes hidden away on albums that rarely get played. Also you can pick up a track on the original format that is also an original release much cheaper than the 45. A case in point would be I just bought JACKIE WILSON album BEAUTIFUL DAY (BRUNSWICK 1972). I paid £15 for it and wanted it mostly for BECAUSE OF YOU, which would set me back £150 from some record dealers. Any one else pick up original albums with tracks that are pricey on 45 format?

 Heres a few although not mega-Rare...Most of my albums are English albums and still have my English Columbia album of The Rythmn which was mega rare in its day.I had an english Rare Stamps on Stax signed by JJ Barnes but it was robbed.(and I never forget).Had a Monitors blank labeled Album with two discs.Another was a Hattie Littles acetate with 'when the battle is over' which a mate had at stafford and collectors didnt know it.A mid-tempo track that was the only ever time of seeing it.I think Dave Thorley was interested in it and as far as I recall was trying to buy it.Got the usual White demo's on Gordy etc etc....

The Chosen Few Taking All The Love I Can

Which is The Adventurers with all their recordings from the Blue Rock lable.

Well. I never knew that! There were quite a few of the Chosen Few albums knocking around in 1976, but I can't remember whether I had one or not(!) I definately had the single though...
