Brand new here and apologies immediately for beginning with a shameless plug for my podcast!

I'm three shows in.

I will never run out of old soul but I try and keep an ear out for new - although my ear is lifted more by new soul that sounds like old e.g. Thee Sacred Souls, whose single is featured elsewhere on this website.

From next month I will be giving away as a prize an Ace records CD - starting with 'Everybody Makes A Mistake' the second volume in the Stax series compiled by Dean Rudland. I play a track from the first volume: 'Nobody Wins' this month.

I must add the podcast is only some soul/r'n'b there's old blues, doo wop and gospel each month too - so it might be everyone's cup of tea?
