Quite a lot of cover-up's in this great chart!  I know that in those day's a dj had to protect their top records from the bootleggers. Still I find it interesting to see a snapshot of the times and maybe some like to see what was being played, also the cover-up titles.

Although it clearly was, I just don't remember Billy Hambric "I Found True Love" being played as a cover up ("She Said Goodbye" for sure, just not the flip). Nice to see though. (Black) Echoes ?

It was worth going to Wigan just to hear Richard's dj set. He is one of the best assets the Northern Scene has had over the years!

Richard preferred this side.

I guess he didn"t get the chance to play it that often what with "She Said Goodbye" such a big sound. Plus all his other wonderful records at that time

Cheers Paul

"I Found True Love" covered up as Steve Mancha as well, "She Said Goodbye" undoubtedly the more popular of the 2 sides.
