As part of his deal with Chess Records, Tony Clarke was given funding to start his own label, this is first release on his shot-lived Brute label out of Detroit. It is arguably one of if not the finest pieces of Detroit group harmony soul. Price has been rising sharply for some time, there are no copies in the wild and the few that are around are safely tucked away into the collections of those who treasure big ticket rarities of genuine quality. This copy is Vg+ and plays clean, cue burn on intro (listen to clip below from actual record), label shows slight wear but is clear of any writing, has some peel damage to outer edges (see image below). A once in a blue moon opportunity to obtain a northern grail item.
