Just read about the sudden death of the Labelle member. Very sad news.

Lady Marmalade was a big soulful disco hit, that we all sang!

Looking at this early video, and what a singer she was ( bare with the poor ish quality, and long intro).

    Sad news about a great artist.

    She wrote the great Northern Soul favourite for Patti Labelle, "Loving Rules" on Atlantic records.

    She also worked with the Rolling Stones, among others.
