To all you information gatherers, I thought I'd compile a list of one song title that has been used on a number of northern soul tracks. Most of them are well known quality sounds. The title is "I STILL LOVE YOU"  The following artists have all recorded this title , but all are different songs:-

Harry Deal and the Galaxies

The Superlatives

The Four Larks

The Casinos

The Seven Souls

Jackie Wilson

Chuck Holiday

The Profiles

The T.S.U. Toronadoes

Ann Sexton

There may be more which could be classed as northern soul ?

  • Thanks Alan T I know about 2 of them, but dismissed them as not being up tempo. I'll check out the rest, Joe

  • Thanks Gold Band as my list was concerned with up tempo versions of the title, your list has actually made me aware of 3 tracks that could be played as dance tracks. Bobby Womack Brenda

Well if you want a real up tempo dance track try Otis Leavill - I Still Love You (Dakar 4511) 1972 you won't find a more up tempo track.....
