I live in Belgium and pre-covid visited the UK monthly and posted my records sales from a UK post office. Now visiting is extremely complicated I've been forced to post from here. From the 1st November there's been a simplifying of crossing border postage, I don't need any invoices anymore and it looks like UK customs are accepting low values and shipped as a 'gift'. I don't guarantee it's all plain sailing but most of my last shipments (about 12 ) have arrived VAT free into the UK.

Am I alone in noticing this ?

                 Great News for you,,,, From EU ,Belgium,, Into Uk Non Eu  is OK ??. The reverse is now a No Go . To buy in  Spain from  Uk dealers on Discogs.. A £100 Purchase will incur a non negotiable  22% Spanish VAT on  your  invoice , ,plus an import charge of a minimum  5 euros up to 50 euros plus   . Forget Friends and Family ,,or Gift or declaring low value old vinyl £1 etc Spanish Aduana {Customs ] will hold parcels to open and check value and set import handling charges when you pick up at Post office,,,Now  after  about 3  to 4 weeks ! {pre Brexit 3 to 4 days Shipping}  So buying from UK dealers now a No ,No.?? Buying From  ,any of the 27 EU Club ,I  will pay Nowt . Thank You Boris Brexiteers ?

These tarrifs are now  across the board ,,,Little old Granny sending Pressie ,/Gift to Grandchildren will incur the Same Duties !!!! II   have raised  the matter with my, Business Accountant his reply ,submit your complaint to Spanish Tax Hacienda ,in 2022 june 30th when you declare your Taxes
