Mike Hanks was a true pioneer of RnB is remembered by his wife, Gracie, and some of the people, such as Johnnie Mae Matthews and Joe Hunter, who worked with him. Mikes career took in the birth of Soul in the late 50s as well as Detroits heyday as a recording center.
