Scorpgemi Records was a New York based record label from the 80’s ,run by Lonnie Johnson ( not the Blues artist ) who concentrated on releasing dance records in a disco / funk / boogie style .This new 6 track compilation by the knowledgable Dean Rudland  showcases 5 of those artists :The Shades Of Love ,Claudette Polite ,Leisa Dove ,Royalle Delite and Jean Jones .

All the tracks are in that dated ,but great crashing disco / funk groove ,and if you are into the Boogie style beloved in Europe especially ,then this compilation is well worthy of your attention .
