Sadly, where we sat, we could hardly hear the music.....yards away from the DJ box, but behind the speakers. The room adjacent had music piped through, so that seemed ok...but full. Tim told us t

Thanks for the input, all quotes will be taken on board and we'll certainly try to rectify matters, thanks for coming, much appreciated😉👍
Spirits recovering now, but definitely not dampened despite the weather yesterday...but it is a dale, and dales attract wet weather.
Yesterday was just pure sunshine music, for 10 hours. A truly remarkable and incredible response to the hard work put in behind the scenes, the advertising paid off and the music did what it said on the tin.
Many thanks to Jordan Wilson, Soul Sam, Tom Dacey, Bill ' Boogaloo' Murray and Tim Brown for hosting and creating such an impactful event, and an honour for me to contribute too.
Most of all, a heartfelt THANKYOU to our unfortunately incapacitated host, GINGER TAYLOR...i am sure we as a collective, wish him a speedy and successful recovery from his illness, and send all our love too.❤️❤️❤️
I've posted a review on the event's page on fb...it, due to the nature of an immensely hectic day and the fact it was held in two rooms, was unrealistic to curate the djs playlists....besides....we were all having so much fun, and there was a great age range present to. Needless to say, mine and our host at the hostelry went above and beyond in catering for folks needs....and the Thai food in the venue is stunning!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can, however, say that you or anyone who observed, took pics, danced or even just passed through, as folk invariably did during the course of the day, would testify to a no-holds-barred exhibition of some of the finest and rarest tuneage there is, in this part of the world.
Todmorden's soulful heritage, triumphed again, and several hundred folk will nod their heads in approval as a result. Above all Ginger Taylor and Tim Brown ARE the town's greatest assets...and it's heritage.
