I’m trying to find out any information about Jeanette Harper & her release Put Me In Your Pocket. 
I know it was big in the early 70’s and got booted a couple of times,  but I can’t find any information from the usual sources. 
Any help would be greatly appreciated  

 

Couldn't find any real info on Jeanette but, did find a picture of her (from Record World April 15, 1967) -

Thanks for that, it looks like Put Me In Your Pocket was probably recorded a couple of weeks after this

I remember it was a massive record with the Northern Soul fraternity at the allnighters in the mid-1970's💫.   Great record, but it doesn't have the kudos with the collectors, it once had!

I remember it from back in the day, but I’ve only recently picked up a copy, which I when I discovered information about her & the record was so scarce
