Any info on Timothy Wilson’s track “Wedding ring”? I have it on the All Platinum Gold various artists LP, but can’t find any trace of it being released anywhere else on vinyl.

  • Curiously. From the same album the Eleanor Mills track Singing the blues was not on its own vinyl until Soul Brother brought it out.

It got as far as an Associated Recording Studios acetate.Picture of it on Discogs.

Thanks, Tricky, I noticed that. It seems unusual to turn up on a compilation without any other release, but stranger things have happened

I didn’t know that. Just checked the track listing of “All Platinum Gold”, and it looks as though the Hank Ballard track also didn’t appear anywhere else.

1 I’m gonna have to pull this album off the shelf and give it another listen.

2 Dig out Steve Guanoris book to see if he mentions anything about these tracks. Not read it yet.
