Rosalind Ashford And Jack Ashford

Just wondering if Rosalind Ashford - Vandellas and Jack Ashford - Motown percussionist were brother and sister.

One or two other Ashfords around I know but I am particularly interested in these two.

might be wrong but don't think they are. Jack born in Philly and Rosalind was a Detroiter.

Been looking at a picture of the first Tamla Motown tour to the U.K. in 1965.

Rosalind A and Jack A are standing plumb next to each other. I wondered if it was a bit of "family camaraderie" - but maybe just a coincidence.

The picture is not that clear but there is no obvious family likeness.
