I've got a styrene record (Shawn Robinson) & the labels almost come off. Can anyone reccomend a glue that will not damage the label.

Thanks

I thought of using one of those pritt sticks but as the label is still just attached it'll be difficult to spread the glue on without folding the label back. I might moisten it & see if it'll come off completely.

Spread the Pritt onto the styrene, not the label, then press it back down. It works, I've done it before :shades:

Airfix.....

Doesn't airfix glue melt styrene ? I think I'd practice on a knackered record first.

Yup...

You asked for one that wouldn't damage the label... not the Styrene :shades: .

General purpose PVA (aka Woodglue) does the trick and dries clear.

I use Crayola craft glue, it's made by the people that make kids Crayola crayons. Dries clear, plus any over spill can be taken off with cotton wool soaked in warm water. Must have used it on dozens of records over the years.

I have used Pritt stick like Trevski said, that works well, but if you dont put it on even you end up with small lumps under the label.

This looks the best so far

Just stuck it back on with PVA, wiped the excess off with a wet sponge, I'm pleased with the result so far.
