As far as i know, the MODO LP was never released. I have this and highly recommend it. All of the tracks were remastered, and sound fantastic. Certainly worth the $18 or whatever it costs.

I agree,solid soul at its best..Daptone have done a great job remastering the music created by Bob&Gene..buy the Lp on site..or contact Daptone Record. Awesome soul

I think Andy Dyson has a lot of info on them, there is also an article within the lastest Wax Poetics magazine (great mag, but quite eclectic, covers very wide area of Black Music)

Short part is they are a couple from Bufallo and sadly the Bob turned into a poor mans Rick James in later life (bobby Nunn)

Go buy mag, worth the £8!

HAVE THE "BOB&GENE-SAILBOAT" ON MO DO ORIGINAL AND BELIEVE ME IT SOUNDS F***ING AWESOME PLAYED OUT AT A VENUE !

CERTAINLY NO PROBS WITH PRODUCTION ,SOUND ETC
