September 25, 200717 yr Cracking little tune! Got mine on German Decca. Jordi @ Jordi Yeah, it's really cracking though i have to admitt i always slept on it. I had it sittin somewhere in my shelves without listening to it for years. And if i took a listen to good old Billy, i played the LP cause I'm more into 33... I think it's more soulful than other dutch funk releases of that time like the Oscar Harris & Twinklestar stuff that was always a bit too "JB's-wanna- be" for my senses...

I have also run across that Vibration 7" but to my knowledge the dutch Billy Jones never did anything in the states or on the Vibration label. There is a good Bio about the Dutch Billy Jones on the web somewhere. He did many things together with the also dutch Oscar Harris (The album on Blue Elephant "Ballads" for example and another great an hard LP called "Love is gonna rain on you" on Imperial. Also the dutch Billy Jones is famous for being singer of the Modern Soul Group "Thunderstorm" which was also a dutch/belgian Project on Dureco... Cheers JB
