LOWTON MODERN ROOM
FRIDAY MARCH 11TH 2005
DJ's...Barry Maleedy-Bob Hinsley-Mark Grice-Ged Lunt... SPECIAL GUEST...Dean Johnson.
Firstly, I like to thank everyone who came down to the 9th Anniversary All-Nighter Special. You made it an absolutely brilliant night and one of our busiest ever. The feedback is that every one loves the accent on spinning a more down tempo selection of tunes while still keeping the famous originality of the Lowton Modern room by dropping in a selection of classic club favourites, a smattering of jazzy flavours and some of today's best up-tempo soulful cuts. This musical mix delighted everyone at the Anniversary and it's going to be the format of the Lowton Modern Room through the year. Here's a selection of some of our favourite tunes as we come into Spring 2005
The Mad March Movers - March 2005
(Chart based on dance floor action)
1. Marvin Gaye - Lets Get It On (Remix).
2. Gordon Chambers - Still In Love/Never Fall in Love
Anyone who is into real 'Modern' Soul must be happy with the situation at the moment. There's a wealth of great new music around to listen and dance to.
