Sugar Boy Williams - Little girl take your time - RAINES

Bought this earlier in the year. Same words as Little Girl (Herald 555) but different backing with a much earlier sound than the Herald recording, but was in fact released later in 1965. Both Labels are New York.

Spoken to a few people whose knowledge I respect on this but to date can't find anybody who's heard of it.

Anyone else out there know anything about this record?

The Herald 45 is the one to get, value wise the one on Raines about £30, on herald add another zero! - I think it's in Tim Browns or JM's price guide. There's also a version of Little Girl by Joe Beck on Charles, a bit slower the SBW version.

Was very lucky - managed to get the Herald version for less than I paid for the Raines but get the feeling that the one on Raines might be rarer?

I had a stroke of luck too with my Herald copy - got it for $5 off Gemm!!
