I really like it, but I'm a total sucker for sweet soul. I listen to a lot of this kind of sound.

I found this test pressing a year ago and decided to share the sound. I was wondering what you Brits think?

Pretty good male group mid-tempo, 'sweet' type sound IMO, strictly for the living room though I think. Might appeal to some crossover types (if you like vague mellow nonsense like George Smallwood anything is possible, eh John?! :thumbsup: ). There is possibly more buyer interest from Japan for this type of sound, or indeed maybe from some U.S. collectors, than there is from the UK northern scene. Don't think too many northern folks would bother with it. That is my non-british opinion. Nice tune anyway, thanks for sharing.

Definitely not a dancer, that is for sure.

This is a white label test press - no information on either side, just a plain white label. In fact, I had to put a tiny "x" on one side just so I could tell which side was which. It came from a producer in Indianapolis who claims it was released in the late 60s. It is not clear what the titles of the songs are or even the name of the group - but I think it is the Montecarlos from Gary, Indiana.
