Maybe.

Joe must have thought he was onto something. Maybe it was a preminition that one day it would sell well as 'Against my will' on a pressing etc.

Its just amazing to think that if either version had sold even a few thousand copies what it would have been like in the local discos/dancehalls when they got played. (What treasures the US missed out on.)

Wasn't PYAAM an old (40's ?) Show tune and IFILWYB therefore the later lyric ? (of course, that doesn't mean that they were released in that order)
