March 9, 200817 yr This is the best thing about this forum, talking records. I'm aware of three different Jab labels one from Los Angeles with around 4 releases (1959), and Frank Armstrongs label from 1955-56 the other was around 1967-68 from Atlanta and distributed through Atco, artists included Wayne Kemp, Johnny Summer, Hal Croft etc., but i have no knowledge of this single, brilliant stuff mate. Brett Fanklin Ps..a Paul Jones also recorded for Ace, Bell, Miltone, Minaret and Private stock, don't know if it's the same guy or different artists. Edited March 9, 200817 yr by Brett F

The Paul Jones on Bell and, I believe, Private Stock is "our" Paul Jones, i.e. the Radio 2 Blues DJ/Former lead singer of Manfred Mann. The Bell 45 was licensed in - they were picking up quite a bit of UK stuff at the time of its release (Cilla Black, Scaffold, the Locomotove 'Rudi's In Love' etc.) Edited March 9, 200817 yr by TONY ROUNCE
