The Motown Alumni Association, Los Angeles chapter has launched an intensive 3-month worldwide "grass roots" campaign of support (ending September 15th) to get a commerative U.S. postage stamp for legendary Motown singer Marvin Gaye.

Am sure theres many "users" of this site be more than happy to lend our support to this campign.

Had a look at the page and it seems that in the usa, way it is being done by sending postal submissions, the address and a easy print off page is avail there.

So well easy doing it that way, and should only take a minute and a cheap stamp.

Not sure how they would look on multiple submissions and all that, will try and find out and see if a possible easy way for offline uk based soul fans to support.

Chance to throw up current Marvin Gave track doing you in ?

Meself just been re-visting "come get to this " both orig and live versions, after Sam played it out, reminded me of a mission to hear the Nancy Wilson version, but just doesnt compare ( theres also a flutey version by Bobbi Humprheys out there )

While both ok imo a definite case of "can't beat the original"!
