K.t On Uk 60ts Singles

Hi All,

We were looking at a copy of the Impressions on HMV at the Wilton last night and wondered what the Initials K.T stand for on most UK issued singles. I mean the two letters that were stamped in the centres of most (if not all!!??) UK issue 45's eg, Tamla Motown, HMV etc.

Anyone know? Be great if you could ducate me and a few others on this one.
