I'm staying with a mate near Manchester 17-22 April (he lives about 20 minutes out) and was wondering if there was a soul night or recommended club I should pop into that would be spinning soul.

check in events the nearest to manchester is the greatstone soul club and there is also the burnley all nighter both are nights where you will hear something a bit different.
