Can't say that I've seen a purple copy for "Don't Pretend"

That would be a Rare one I reckon.

There are a few different shades for Mirwood on some of the Titles.

Agreed, even the Silver writing has a hint of purple.

Is that a scan without any Gamma variance to the image.

Does it look like that in normal daylight for instance.

The Purple/Burgundy copy of "The Duck" is on Vinyl and has Possible Monarch Stamp & Delta # Markings.

Mirwood still surprises to this day. I certainlly haven't seen them all.

With the The Early numbers, anything up to and Including this one Mirwood 5508

Appears to have a chance of turning up on a purple/burgundy label.

Regarding The scan that chris has posted, sometimes a West Coast press isn't scanner friendly.

I have some labels where the Silver writing virtually disappears, yet in normal daylight it is there as large as life.

Definitely a first viewing for me to see "Don't Pretend" on a Purple/Burgundy Label.

well ive found it roger.......... but its blue !! i really apologise mate, its the first one in that scan of 3 u posted earlier together, i am indeed a fool, sorry bud but at least we know now, must be me old age making me see things that aint there !

Not a problem Mate. I have done the same thing myself.

Funny thing though, regarding certain records, I remember being elbow to elbow searching through boxes of records in my youth.

Certain ones stick in my mind to this day, even though I only flicked through quickly, slid out of sleeve etc,

but possibly foolishly didn't buy only to regret years later. As I said no problem and thanks for taking the time to look.
