how many copies do exist/werw pressed of the following LP:

Barbara Howard - On The Rise - SR Production

i heard only a couple of copies - about 300-600 ones...is it true? anyone who knows it...thanks.

Guess those damn 45s are a habit soul fans will never break ...

Anyway, one thinks that there's a bit of urban myth making going on about this LP, it comes up every now and then, so I wouldn't think it's that rare.

It's got 4 listings on popsike alone and in a couple of those the sellers state that there may only have been less than 10 made !!!

I doubt it !

But who knows !

sorry for listing this LP request but there are some really great 12"s around and loads of brilliant choons never issued on 45. that's why I dig both - lps and 45s ... I don't give a fokk about only collecting 45s - it just has to be an original copy ... and the choon has to be awesome - doesn't matter if it is a rare one or a just plain good cheapo ... keep on keepin' on soulin'

this seems to be the answer - 250 copies were sold (now available on CD):

Steve Reece founded and served as President of SR Records. He produced an album "Barbara Howard On the Rise" which sold 250,00 copies, it is now available on CD
