Just got this month's issue and believe it or not has a feature on northern soul, the usual shite but look out for a new guy on the scene who is pictured with Sam Dees his name is ANDY Croasdell , they just can't get anything soul wise right in that mag can they?

There is allways somthing that hampers what should be a good read in record collector when it comes to northern soul.......may be there Andycapt ........................................

Agreed, it's not for the want of telling them either, I've emailed them dozens of times without any reply and even Pete wrote to them about the Kenny Burrell item but you get no reply or apology, the last time I emailed I told them they were just a load of spaced out hippies far to much up their own arses with prog rock and punk ... ...but for daft some reason I keep buying it..

It's a misprint in one photo caption. His name is spelt correctly in the article, all five times it appears, funnily enough.

I started collecting this mag in the 70s when it first came out, they were featuring the ABC of uk soul lables, you wouldn't believe the amount of exclusions they had in any one lable, tamla motown was the worst by far, due to being such a massive lable, stateside was another one, and where do they get their prices from in their rare price guide book?????
