I like Mari but this is like most of her stuff good 60s girly rather than soul. She was a breath of fresh air in the early 80s when it was all synths now she's trying to reclaim her previously unopposed territory; good luck to her.

wasnt the original backing band the imaginations, but had to change their name in case buyers thought it was the "body talk" guys

Had a listen on I tunes like the last track the only one I could find that didn't appeal to a 14 year old girl IMO. Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps and its sounds more French or Spanish than the rest.
