ok i dont watch the program wink.gif , the wife does, and if i do its only to see rachael stevens. wanker.gif

but i thought that tom jones and the song he performed were top stuff

no jigging about and shouting , he just stood there and sang it.

dont know what the song was called, proper 60's stuff though.

they said its from his new lp. was it a cover?

bet it cant sound as good as that on his lp can it?

Its called "If He Should Ever Leave" and according to his site its a new single released today. There was a thread about this just recently.

I have Radio 2 on at work and Ken Bruce featured Tom Jones' new album last week - def worth a listen as I heard some good tracks!

cheers lads will check for it and get my granny to buy it for me!

As`a pop record it's actually a good track.

The only highlight on an otherwise abysmal show last night.

I think the record is excellent , and my only criticism with it , is that it should have been a sax solo , and not a trumpet one .......

Malc Burton

glad my ears hadnt let me down last night

i wouldnt say it was really a pop record.

and sax or trumpet solo, both would be cool

just a good soul recording

surprised he could sing really his face was pulled back that tight !
