Does anyone remember the Bedford All-nighters? I only went a few times but always had a great night just wonderd who promoted it and who dj'd? It never seems to get a mention but i always had a brilliant night there. Seem to remember it being on the embankment near the river?

Went to a few, once with Brian and Madeline, leasing a few cars down, wierd place inside, was it a converted cinema or theatre, it felt like it??

Cant remember who dj'd Nev. did before that accident don't know if Tony Warrot was involved its been a long time , was it around 79'ish??

I went there a few times...I think it was a converted cinema...I remember once flaking out in the cafe in the services on the way there...everyone fooked off and left me cos they (wrongly) thought I'd od'd and were more concerned about what they had in their pockets (or nether regions) wink.gifbiggrin.gif and when I came round I was on my own except for some of the staff who accused me of taking all sorts (I wish) when I was genuinely ill...then I had to cope with the niter and felt groggy all night...think I spent most of it feeling sorry for myself in the car :(

Morning Jerry - abidding memory of Bedfored was Ian Clark putting his record boxes in a shopping trolley and wheeling said shopping trolley through Bedford to the venue....and this link should work to the older thread. . Jo
