While we're talking about auction items, can I ask about the Goldwax item also on JM's?

I found a copy of this last year, played it, didn't rate it much, so shoved it in a sales box that I took to the 100 Club when I came home last summer. I think I put 10 quid on it, but got no takers. Was I incredibly lucky that no sharp soulie snapped it up, or is it aimed at a different crowd (60s garage)?

I think it's a great version of the Willie & The Handjives tune. Definitely not soul though and one for the 60s garage rock collectors indeed. It has been comped for that "scene" and is well known, have never seen it sell for much money though.

Thanks Sebastian. I thought it looked a little out of place amongst the northern tunes.
