Bought this blind a few months back and thought it was pretty good.

was browsing through the Record Collectors new price guide and found it had different info than on my release.

Is my release a re-issue? have they got the info wrong? or is there 2 versions?

why 2 group names on the b side ?

my copy is the following

FUGATIVES - MUSICAL PRESSURE -DOCTOR BIRD DB1082-A

ON THE B SIDE IT HAS TWO GROUP NAMES ONE ABOVE THE OTHER

TITLE IS ALL IN ONE DB1082B

In the guide it states the following doctor bird db1082

a side as per my copy

b side leslie butler & fugatives - winchester rocksteady

Hi Geoff, should be an original - it was reissued with the even better Cantelope Rock on the b-side some time ago. Misspelt names on labels are quite common on the UK issues. No idea where the Leslie Butler comes from, it was issued on DB 1083 so I guess there's some mistake in your guide

No problem, if you like it try Cantelope Rock on Doctor Bird as well, not too hard to get

Penny played it last night - but you need a JA blank or JA Fugitive label copy. The turn up a fair bit on ebay

When I mentioned above about CR being a "belter", I couldn't actually place the tune, but I knew it was a top tune.

When I heard it last night, I thought "this is a killer", but it took a further 30 seconds to place it as CANTELOUPE ROCK.

...so is CANTELOUPE ISLAND (an 'andsome choon), of course
