yep, he just asked for his account to be closed one day, wasn't aware myself of reasons but as had already edited a lot of his past posts blank, took it as a fairly definite request cheers mike

can only ask so many times.... a long time request is that all comments on site moderation are posted in the feedback forum not on the actual thread for a number of reasons some of the reasons are 1. such discussion on the thread can damage the thread by taking it down an offtopic road 2. mods are aware - posts/request etc concerning moderation in main forum threads do stand a good chance of not being seen either for a while or not at all by mods. 3. members only - the feedback forum is a members only forum which gives it a different status than a public one both in real and legal world no real wish to delete posts but as it says at the top can only ask so many times....

i think some how a recent tidy up of the article section has meant that this article or the attached forum post has caught someones eye and then they and then others have took it as fresh news will temp close and move shortly just to try and lower the "fresh" aspect

a comment has been removed in one earlier post due to a complaint about serious accusations regarding a past occurrence all members please note if you ever do feel a need to make such posts on here, then do ask that ask that you word them in a factual manner which reflects the seriousness and backs up any accusations with facts as always ask if members do wish to discuss any element of soul source site moderation then please do so in the feedback forum rather than the actual threads thanks mike

we could have it set up so that the actual given of feedback is not linked to the actual deal/post but i think that there does have to be a 'connection' with the actual 'deal' post otherwise it just wouldn't work - it just be a general good guy sort of thing a quick and easy way to find any posts is just click on the seller/buyers profile and hit the "find content" link (top right 1/3rd down) eg if chalky flogged me a 45 and i wanted to find his sales post quick to throw some feedback at him very good chance it be listed here https://www.soul-sour...ctivity&mid=225

as chalky says a post was removed while awaiting moderation idea of him posting that is so that members are aware and help avoid any unneeded speculation once moderation (if any) has been decided will post people posting guessing mod decisions/reasons before they have been made or indeed discussed doesn't really help with the moderation side of things so ask members in such cases at the very least wait till we have made a decision before commenting thanks mike

just a quick word as have just noticed have hit the 1000+ positive feedbacks in the sales sections on here which aint that bad seeing running for 18 months you can view all the feedback here /feedback/ or via the members profile pages hats off to all the members who have helped make it a useful feature on here
