Event: Soul Worcester Review: 4 stars by Longin The Tooth. Event Date: 2 Nov 2024 Worcester was my destination for Saturdays NS offering. We arrived reasonably early only to find a fair number of Soulers already in attendance. It was our second visit to The Hangar and it was good to see that the dance floor had been updated making dancing somewhat easier on the body. Event Date: 1 Nov 2024 Well this weekend started off with a visit to Macclesfield, which was last visited under the previous promoters Mopsey and Foxy. Event Date: 2 Nov 2024 The word iconic seems to be overused these days, but not when it comes to the glider, great instant atmosphere as soon as you walked in, greeted by the Duo on the decks then 30 years a dj Martin one of Boston favourites, Billy brought all the right tunes for the crowd is he psychic? Dave brought his northern dancers, the Bassettlaw djs brought us some cracking tunes that we rarely get to hear this way, gents toilet not so iconic broken and dirty . Event: Newquay Northern Soul Weekender 2024 Review: 5 stars by Matt. Event Date: 1 Nov 2024 Thanks to Sarah, Dean, Kev, Adrienne, Frank, Rico, Gilly, Rebecca and the Soul on Wax team for a wonderful weekend, as always. Great to meet up with like minded souls at this wonderful venue. The staff are great and loved seeing them dancing with us all and enjoying the event. Top music in both rooms from all the other djs. Paul Kidd’s (kidda) latest offering follows the previous memorable venues, the festival Hall (Alderley Edge) in the noughties and the Cinamon Rooms (Bowden) that ended in 2019.
