Just to let everyone know about the pointer sisters, I'm not totally sure if its not a reissue or original as I say there not mine, and he's not good with computers etc. he says he's had it for years but I'm sure they were reissued back in the old days. If anyone can shed any light on the matter I can check it out. One things for sure it's not stamped just scratched in the dead wax.

We are The Casino Allstars the UK's no 1 Northern Soul band, based in Stockport and due to some unforeseen event we are left needing a new Bass player. We have plenty of paid gigs coming up and play in and around the Cheshire area. This could be the best move you ever make as joining this band is more like extending your family as we just love doing what we do. This is your chance to join us, what we are looking for is someone who looks and plays well, we are all over 40 so bare that in mind. You must have your own transport and be willing to rehearse once a week when needed. Just checked my copy and it has the music city stamp on it thank god, you had me going then you lot. Had this for over 18 yrs or so and paid £750 or there abouts back then as there were not many others about. Rod was the only other person I knew who had one, I have seen a few more over the years turning up and reading this explains why. Not that I want to but I would think this class soul tune should be still worth between six and seven hundred looking on how prices are at the moment. With a stamp that is !!

To be honest even though it's always been a £10 - 15 record, it knocks spots off some of the £300 plus rare shite that gets played now and then.

I was in NY last May a lot of the good record shops used to be found in downtown Greenwich Village but quite a few had closed. The thing is they have a massive outdoor car boot think its on ave 7 on 22nd street, I found it by mistake going to watch City live at The Mad Hatters Bar which is just round the corner. It was a Sunday morning at 7.30 the place was packed and I found some good stuff, also dealers will clock you straight away and invite you to their houses/apartments to go through stuff. Just depends on how much time you have and how well you get on with the missus ha ha. Mine went mad after I watched the match which we beat Newcastle 2-0 I ended up at this car boot for a couple of hrs. Well it had to be done.

Totally correct mate, I attend events in Valencia where I would say the ave age would be 24 or so, they are mad for it as much as we were back then. The DJ have all the top tunes and the dress code is like going back in time apart from the stupid baggy trousers, which is not such a bad thing. Europe is Northern Souls way forward, people with hair etc ha ha.
