Nathaniel Mayer R.i.p
That's really sad, saw him in New York a few years back playing with a young band. A real character we met up with him coincidentally the next day and were moaning about people talking all the way through his ballads at the gig. So he serenaded my wife with a killer ballad. Another loss

The Fantastic Glenrothes Ym Allnighters
I went to the Crown Hotel a few times. I think I've still got the first anniversary patch somewhere. The crowd were bonkers, but totally up for it. I remember one time we left Euston at 7am Saturday morning to get to Derby to get the coach up with Keb ,Guy, Gilly, Tommo etc. That didn't leave until 1pm, we got there at 1am and I wasn't even taking anything. Tempests 'Someday' was played on the coach up there on a cassette and by the trime we arrived it had been played a few times and 'broken' ready to play that night. Great times

Usa Today Says Linda Jones! Greatest Soul Singer
Don't let Terry Jones hear you say that Tone Seriously though Linda Jones ballads are up there with the best of them 'Ooh baby you move me' ' What can i do without you' and that live cd that you compiled with amazing live version of 'thats when I'll stop loving you' are among the best soul records I've ever heard. Long overdue a re-appraisal.
