Hi Diddly Dee Dum Dum
Well me and Steve played both versions at our Sunday night do's in Heywood, and I'm pretty sure it's had airings the revived Wheel nights, but it definitely deserves a wider exposure, it's cheap too! BTW don't request a soundbite as I have neither the technology or the skills required Cheers Tony

Would You Go?
So far it looks like a no, so the question now becomes ,why? I'm fairly sure that when Sheridans was open the same core of people went 2 or 3 times a month, albeit to nights run by different promoters. Or is it that by going to different venues you can hear a wider selection of Sounds, like say Prestwich Blackburn Stoke Tony

Would You Go?
Hijacking the thread regarding linking sounds to venues for a minute, as, historically all the "top" venues were weekly events it makes it that bit easier to name where you first heard something. Anyway the point is this,if somebody had the 'nads to start a weekly event nowadays, with the scene being on a much more "global" scale, would you go???? Answers on the back of a £20 note, if you please. Tony

Four Tops
Oh Yeah Levi Stubbs, one of the most distinctive voices ever. Once saw an interview where he was asked-- Why, as one the most famous voices on Motown, he never went solo???? His answer--It's all about Respect and Friendship. Class. Tony
